Call for Papers: Law and Rurality Workshop

The Call for Papers for our Fall 2026 Law and Rurality Workshop is now live!

We are thrilled to co-host the Law and Rurality Workshop again this year with the fabulous Hannah Haksgaard at the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law. This year, Professor Haksgaard will also be our local host as we convene in person to share in-progress research and work related broadly to the law’s relationship to rural people and places on Friday, October 9, 2026.

To participate in the workshop, abstracts and expressions of interset are due Monday, July 27, 2026. Full details on our event page and in the Call for Papers.
