Law & Rurality Workshop

Thrilled to be hosting our second Law & Rurality Workshop, alongside Hannah Haksgaard (University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law), today with both in-person events in Lincoln and a remote track happening simultaneously online.

This post is really just a marking of the moment, as we are so grateful for everyone’s deep and lasting engagement on these projects. Full schedule here, and updates sure to follow on Twitter (@Rural_Reconcile). We look forward to a roboust workshop, welcoming scholars and discussants from diverse disciplines and institutions around the globe, including the US, Canada, the UK, Brazil, and Uganda.

As always, grateful to Carnegie Corportation of New York for program support and the prior oganizational efforts of both Hannah Haksgaard (South Dakota) and Lisa Pruitt (UC-Davis), whose initial workshops in these spaces led to and helped inspire this ongoing conversation today.
